“Life is not about finding yourself. Life is about creating yourself,” George Bernard Shaw. I have been in the vast city of New York for a month, and within that time span I have been engulfed and mesmerized by the opportunities that I have had. Strutting in a Fashion show, Football Classics, Exploring NYC, and Random Encounters and Conversations on the 1,2, and 3 trains of the New York Subway System. New York has expanded upon my previous knowledge of the world, black culture, organizational management, and practical skills that were in need of increasing. I have been given the golden universal key of belief and the invaluable gift of having people in my life who I can learn, laugh, and live life with. Life is grand and it has the potential and the power to be everything that I want it to be. As I sit here writing this, my mind is blown by the imminent future that I have for myself and the time, effort, and hard work that I am more than ready to put into effect for the purpose of manifesting this vision. Life is about this very moment that I am in! I live boldly and take full authority over my life. I own my past, present, and future. I value the people and experiences that have helped to mold me, teach me, and polish me into the better woman that I am today. I walk fearlessly and fiercely into the next chapter of my life, because I am more than assured that it only gets more and more awesome with each page.
